Quensha is the registered Kennel Club Affix held in partnership by Angela Morgan and Richard Bott.
Angela has owned and shown English Setters for nearly four decades and established Quensha as a kennel name in 1974 (the year Richard was born!). This was the starting point for what has become a well-known and highly regarded line of quality English Setters. Having made up seven show champions in the breed we are delighted with the continuing success of our dogs in the show ring. Our stud dogs have contributed to this success, with many winners amongst their progeny.
Angela and Richard also own and show Irish Setters, Weimaraners English Pointers and Welsh Springer Spaniels with a large number of successes in the show ring, having made up a Show Champion in each of these breeds as well.
Angela has been judging English Setters since 1982 and has been awarding tickets in this breed from 1992. She had great pleasure judging  in Melbourne, Australia, at the championship show of the Victoria English Setter Association. She also judges Pointers at Championship Show level, all Gundogs at Open Show level, and has judged all varieties and Best in Show at an all breeds Open Show.
It was in January 1998 Angela and Richard joined forces so that they could further develop their interests in the Gundog breeds in partnership under the Quensha umbrella, which has proved to be a tremendous success.

Richard has been fascinated with the world of dogs since a very early age and has become well known in the Irish Setter world with his Show Champions, and because of his outstanding handling abilities. He has handled most of the dogs we own in partnership to become Show Champions as well as handling many very successful dogs for other owners in many different breeds. With his first judging appointments from the age of 20, he was one of the youngest judges in the breed and now awards Challenge Certificates in English Setters, Irish Setters, Irish Red & White Setters, Weimaraners, and Labradors. He has branched out into the world of English Springer Spaniels in partnership with Anthony Allen of the Allenie kennels and together they own the multi CC winning Show Champion Sh Ch Trimere Talking Point of Allenie who won the CC, BOB and Group 2 at Crufts 2009 and also BOB Crufts 2010.
None of this would have been possible without the unstinting support of Angela’s husband, John. He’s the one who erects kennels and fences and stays at home to dog sit those dogs that are left behind whilst others are at shows.
