The Que
Puppies for web-2
nsha principle is quality not quantity, so we breed only to continue and develop our show winning breeding lines, and never on a commercial basis. As a consequence we rarely have as many as one litter a year, which means that we have the time and energy to give each of our puppies the loving care that each requires.
When we do have a litter our objective is to obtain at least one puppy of show winning quality with the potential to develop our breeding line; to achieve that all of the puppies are treated in exactly the same way as regards care, nutrition, dietary supplements, etc, so that if they leave us for a new owner they are assured a good start in life.
All breeding is conducted on a “fitness for purpose” basis, with due regard for the long term health of the dogs and the relevant breed standard. The effectiveness of this policy is seen in the show ring, where at the time of writing the Quensha stock listed in these pages includes 11 Show Champions in five different breeds. We are also members of the Kennel Club’s Assured Breeders Scheme.
Of course, it is not possible to guarantee success in dog shows, this depends not only on the breeding line but also on nutrition during the development stage, the right amount of exercise, preparation, presentation and handling.
Should you be interested in the possibility of owning a Quensha puppy, or possibly of offering a good home to one of our older dogs when they have retired from the show ring, please use the contact form to register your interest. We will then be able to advise you of current breeding plans.
